ECL for Dragons over 20 [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-13-07, 02:48 AM I am running a Dragonlance game that is soon to go epic. I have a Dragonrider in the party and I would like to give hime a better mount, where can I find the ECLs for dragons beyond 20?

01-13-07, 03:05 AM You won't. You will probably have to extrapolate them yourselves. A good thumb of rule is +1LA every 2 age categories.:)

01-13-07, 11:35 AM The Epic Leadership (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/feats.htm#epicLeadership) feat has some epic cohort examples including a few dragons. For example an ancient silver dragon has an ECL of 42 which results in an LA +8.

As that numbers differ from the one in the Epic Level Handbook I assume that they are 3.5.
