ECL for the Half Celestial template [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-19-07, 12:30 PM I'm sure this has probably been asked before, but what is the ECL of the Half Celestial template? The entry in the Monster Manual is both confusing and stupid and I'd like to know before I try to mess around with it (I'm trying to see if my DM would let me have a variation on the Soul Locked template from Heroes of Horror).

Answers shall be rewarded with zombie weiner dogs to do your bidding! (as soon as they actually put a zombie weiner dog emocon on this thing, anyways. Maybe a Vertual Zombie Weiner dog or something...)

09-19-07, 02:56 PM It's an LA of +4 so to figure it's ECL you take the HD of the base creature and then add the LA. For example, a 1st level Half-Celestial/Human is an ECL 5.
