ECLs for Oozes? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-08-04, 04:40 PM Well...Thanks you friendly people on the boards I found my Awaken Ooze spell. Now I want to make a character, well a Cohort for my character, out of it. What is the proper ECL for the oozes? Namely Ochre Jelly , I can't see a Gelatinous Cube or Black Pudding being a PC...kinda hard to wear armor and use weapons when you melt everything you touch. Agreed?

Anyhow...what would an ECL be for an Ochre Jelly?
If you have Monsters of Faerun, the ECL for an Aballin would be appreciated as well.

03-09-04, 03:18 PM Awaken Ooze? That's just not right... I would add +1 CR for the increased intelligence, but that's probably about it. ECL would be as the rules in Savage Species.
