Effects of trip/prone on an earth elemental that is standing on stone or earth [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-14-06, 01:43 PM		Last session, I tripped a huge earth elemental that was standing on a limestone cavern floor. After the game, I brought up a theory that maybe I should have not been able to do so, due to it's elemental nature and connection to the earth. Nothing in the creature's description specifically supports my theory.
What do you all think? Should they also be immune to the effects of being knocked prone in a similar situation?
