OK, so I was messing around with some builds and my usual pile of half-created thoroughly-fiendish critters, and I wondered... Is there any official ruling preventing the Effigy Creature template from being applied to a templated or advanced creature? Seems this can be abused, price-wise, since one can take a decent or efficient creature (such as the Dire Lion) and adding a few templates to it that don't raise its Hit Dice. Yes, I know the CR goes up, but I'm talking from a cost-based perspective for characters to make.
