The CA states that - An effigy creature loses all skill points and all feats except those feats yada yada yada.

Does this mean that my Thri-kreen effigy will lose its +30 jump skill?

No. Your thri-kreen's +30 Jump is a racial bonus, not skill points. Your effigy won't have any skill points in the Jump skill (or anything else), but with a Jump mod of 30 + Strength (and since Jump can be used untrained), it shouldn't need them.

They also lose all special qualities, and the +30 jump bonus is one. But I let them retain it. It makes for a better Grievous (add in soulfused (MoIncarnum) and give it multi-weapon fighting and four brilliant energy longswords).

I guess it means that a mechanical copy of a thri-kreen just can't jump as well as the real thing.

Normally, a skill bonus wouldn't merit its own special ability the way Leap does, but I suppose there aren't many +30 bonuses just lying around.

N-K Necrosis, on the other hand, would be represented very nicely by an awakened effigy thri-kreen.
