| bossloki10-06-04, 07:17 PM | Has anyone seen or created an electric or lightning elemental? Or know where I can find one. |
| Shemeska the Marauder10-06-04, 07:40 PM | Lightning was one of the quasielemental planes in 2e/Planescape, specifically it was the border plane between elemental air and positive energy. As such there were quasielementals of that plane, lightning quasielementals. I've converted them on the fly before, but I don't have those stats handy on me. They were originally in one of the Planescape Monstrous Compendiums, number III I believe. |

| cwslyclgh10-06-04, 08:54 PM | or you could try the Storm Elemental from MM3 (think of it as a "thunder and lightning" elemental; although I feel it only right to warn you that some poeple find it a bit under CRed). |
| RavinRay10-07-04, 06:24 AM | In the Planar Handbook, there are five new energons to complement tha xag-ya (positive), xeg-yi (negative) and xag-az (astral/psionic). One of them is the xap-yaup (electricity). Would you consider energons and elementals as fundamentally similar? If so, there's some overlap between the fire elemental and the xac-yel (fire energon). They're in the Planar Handbook Art Gallery, BTW. Energons I (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/planar_gallery/82548.jpg) are the green xac-yij (acid), violet xong-yong (sonic), and blue xap-yaup (electricity). Energons II (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/planar_gallery/82549.jpg) are the (bluish-)white xor-yost (cold) and red xac-yel (fire). |
| Gez10-07-04, 06:32 AM | The Tome of Horrors (you do not have it yet? run to the nearest games shop, hurry!) has Lightning Elementals. As well as Psionic Elementals and Time Elementals. The Tome of Horrors 2 (by the way, have you bought already the first? Fly, you fool!) has an Acid Elemental that can be converted easily enough into Elecricity Elementals, just swap an energy with another, increase speed and Dex, reduce Str... Well, do the same with them as the difference between Air and Water elementals. |
