Elementals damaging DR ? [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-06-04, 01:47 PM I cannot find it in the descriptions for elementals, but can they damage targets who have DR/Magic?

it's to settle a debate my group is having. part of the arguement for this is that elementals are inherently magical creatures.

07-06-04, 03:34 PM No, they dont penetrate DR/magic. They would if they themselves have DR/magic, or if it says so in their description, but neither is true so they dont.

A fire elemental's burn will go through DR, because it is an energy attack.
