| rasmus0203-30-04, 07:22 AM | I'm starting up a new campaign where alot of the player races are LA 1-2. In this campaign elves are a secluded and superior race done somewhat oriental style, but I'm not very locked on anything yet. However they can't be weaker than any of the other races, so I need to make an elf race with LA 2-3. Any good ideas? |

Oriental style elves would probably have higher Wis and Int than the 'commonfolk' that populate the world. A bonus of +2 Int and +2 Wis should suffice. You may look into changing their favored class away from wizard to suit the feel you're going for. You might also look into granting spell-like abilities. If your elves are healers, the ability to Cure Light Wounds 3/day could certainly be useful. If your elves are 'the best spellcasters around', a racial bonus to their Save DCs could suit that (and maybe even a freebie Caster Level) Going with the secluded theme, you could give them bonuses to Hide and Move Silently. Just a few ideas on the fly. |

Minimum caster level 3rd if using any 2nd level spells for spell-like abilities. 3) Immunity to diseases as a paladin for possible flavor. |
