Encumbrance and Animal Flight [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-03-05, 09:30 PM IIRC, an animal with the ability to fly (dragon, griffon, avariel, etc.) can only fly if light encumbered. If medium encumbered (or more) they cannot. (Not sure how light, medium or heavy armor fits into this.) Issue - WHERE is this rule. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks.

07-03-05, 09:48 PM Flying mounts cannot fly unless the are carrying a light load, you can see that in the mount section of the DM's guide.
