| Luca11-24-03, 04:45 AM | It seems that Endure Blows (from Draconomicon) and Roll With It (from Savage Species) are very similar... Both feats give DR 2/- stackable with themself and with other types of DR. Both require Toughness. Endure Blows is a Monstrous Feat that requires to have 19 Con and to be a Dragon. Roll With It is a General Feat that requires to have 20 Con (but the feat Attribute requirements shouldn't always be odd numbers?). Maybe Endure Blows should replace Roll With It? I just wanted to point this out. |

I guess dragons can get away with the same thing (increased DR) with a lower constitution than other creatures can. |
| Nagarhi11-25-03, 02:37 AM | Don't forget the Savage Species feat Thick-Skinned [Monstrous] that grants DR 2/existing DR. In my own campaign world, I have rolled these three feats into one feat called... Endure Blows [General] Prerequisite: Damage reduction, Toughness, Con 20+ Benefit: Your existing damage reduction improves by 2. Special: You can take this feat multiple times. Each time you take it, it improves your damage reduction by 2, up to a maximum of twice your origonal damage reduction. I think WoTC didn't put enough thought into this one. To many feats doing the exact same thing but in slightly different ways. I don't think it is necessary. One feat (above) does it all... Opinions.? |

Too many slightly different feats that does the same thing. In addition to this, shouldn't the Constitution requirement be an add number? (like Con 19 or Con 21) |
| AV 3e DM11-25-03, 10:15 AM | note that your proposed version of the feat excludes the one thing that roll with it has different from the others, beings without damage reduction can't take your version of endure blows, also there's a benefit for even a great wyrm to have the draco version of endure blows as by that time most people have a magic weapon |
