03-06-07, 02:42 PM Is it possible to have a monster that has energy drain multiple times a round?

The vampiric illithid in Lords of Madness specifically does not do this (even though it has multiple tentacle attacks), hence my confusion.

03-06-07, 03:14 PM It depends on the monster/template. Often, a monster can only use energy drain once per round, no matter how many attacks they get. Vampires are an example.

03-06-07, 09:01 PM Shouldn't be impossible. Head over to the CO boards and see what they can cook up.:)
Part-Human2
03-06-07, 11:58 PM The Vampire's Energy Drain ability is written with the restriction of only once per round (see the MM) so they are actually the exception.
