| DemonDragonJ04-16-08, 01:23 PM | When a creature bestows a negative level (or tries to paralyze) with its touch, do the unarmed attacks of the creature do the same? Only if the creature's description states that it does. The energy drain ability of creatures always states clearly under what conditions negative levels are bestowed. The same is true with ability drain, or any other special attacks, such as a pit fiend's poison and disease; these are inflicted through its bite, but not through its claws, wings, or tail. Similarly, a chichimec's (Epic Level Handbook) tail attack deals charisma damage, but its wing attacks do not. |
