| tn32002-08-06, 01:30 PM | I wanted to make an Epic level Treant for a campaign. I do not want to use the treant in the Epic Level Handbook. I wanted to use the base treant which has 7 HD and a +5 Level adjustment and a 8 Challenge Rating. I am going to use the Rules for improving a monster by adding Character classes. How many Character Class levels do I have to add to the Treant before it becomes an epic level Creature and can take Epic Level Feats. I wasn't sure where to post this so I posted it on the Epic and DM's Board also. |

This means at either 16 HD or 7 HD (base) +9 class levels. The second is that it becomes Epic whe its HD total reaches 21. This is at 21 HD or 7 HD + 14 class levels. It's your choice, but Option #2 makes more sense to me. |
