Epic Vampire?? [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-08-06, 03:34 PM Is there an Epic Vampire of sorts? Some template that can be added to vampires to make them more powerful, kind of how you can add demilich to lich?

I need this because in my campaign we are fighting a very very very powerful vampire. Lestat, lord of vampires. Basicly the king of all vampires everywhere. I want to enhance his vampire-ness, so does anyone have any tips? (this is an epic level campaign, so don't hold back)

07-08-06, 03:59 PM Try to give this epic guy some class levels, prcs, evolved undead template... I'm quite sure there were monstrous prcs out there. Look through LM and BoVD.

07-08-06, 04:37 PM Vampire Lord (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mm/20021018a) You will have to update some of it's abilities to 3.5. Have you picked up Libris Mortis? I would change the +1 HP per HD to Unholy Toughness, and perhaps add in Unholy Grace. The DR would probably become 15/silver and epic. I would change the caster levels to equal your HD instead of a set caster level of 12(same for alternate form). You will probably be about 14 levels behind everybody else, but the template adds some nice abilities. Take leadership or undead leadership from Libris Mortis, and have a gang of your vampires follow you. Same suggestions I posted here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=654997) . Perhaps that will help. The evolved undead template is also nice, as mentioned before.
