Estimating Wraith Monster Class Levels [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-11-06, 04:52 PM Hello everyone, one of the people I play with wants to become a wraith at some point during the next campaign. Looking through the wraith's stat block I am estimating a total Monster Level of 10. Can anyone give any insight for this? It would be much appreciated.

+2 for being undead,
+1 or +2 for Incorporeal,
+1 for a fly speed,
+1 or +2 for Con-drain attack,
+1 for two bonus feats (Alertness and Improved Initiative),
+1 for unbalanced stats (+6 Dex, +4 Int, +4 Wis, +4 Cha, no Str or Con).
-2 for daylight powerlessness

Total LA about +5 or +6
5 HD +5 LA = 10 wraith levels.

You could justify bumping this up to +7 if you think it wise.
