| thasis10-30-06, 09:14 PM | This is my first draft so PEACH the hell out of it. Angel of Pestilence The creature has a general humanoid figure, but it has three pairs of arms, each extending into a large hand of sharp claws. Spouting from the creature's back is a large set of black angelic wings, almost a perversion to the angel's. It's head looks like an oversized ants head, with large pincers and insectoid eyes. Its skin is of a reddish hue, and seems to have a thick defensive nature to it. Despite it's tough nature it's skin seems to be decaying on many spots and worms and maggots seem to be crawling through the open wounds. The creatures seems to take no notice. Once a high angel of heavens, they fell from grace for one reason or another. Some of these fallen angels are banished to areas of the abyss trapped in disease and traint. Their they grow akin to the viral and diseased state of such a despicable place. The taint of these locations literally changes the angels body into a hideous mutation of their once blessed state. Angels of pestilence only have one goal, to take revenge on those who threw them into the swamps that shaped them into such a hideous of state. Angels of pestilence are bitter creatures who show no respect or care towards any living creature. Strategies and Tactics Angels of pestilence are ruthless fighters, who wish to be quick and brutal about their methods. They fight with dedication unknown to any mortal, with the burning hatred for their banishers. They see no point in drawing out a combat farther then necessary, as their are so many more conflicts to engage in. When engaging in combat, which is quite frequent, the angel of pestilence will hack away at their opponents, using their spell-like abilities if they believe that the enemies are to strong to defeat by pure muscle. They believe that to waste the resources they were granted is to waste a resource that could save their life in the future. They have no qualms with retreating, but prefer to do so only if their is no other opportunities. Ecology Angels of pestilence are tainted by their very environment. Their they grow a sick attunement to the diseases (if they survive them). It literally changes their body into a vessel for disease and pestilence. Angels do not feed on anything, but they seem to almost require the death of other living beings to stay in an energized state. No angel of pestilence has been closely monitored however, so no factual evidence pertaining to the theory has been factually stated. Environment: Any Land or Underground Alignment: Always Chaotic Evil Typical Treasure Angels of pestilence have the standard treasure for their CR. They usually have magical items or gems that they have stolen from fallen foes. with Class Levels The angel of pestilences favored class is the cleric. |

| Dracomortis11-10-06, 12:02 PM | Angels of pestilence are tainted by their very environment (as told below in the description of the Unholy Swamps of Akin). Flumph is referring to that quote. You never give a description of the swamps. |
| thasis11-13-06, 07:19 PM | Oh... ooops... nevermind... I was originaly going to do something about that place, and I might have built some of my flavor about it, but I scrapped the idea. I must have forgot the remove the flavor. I'll fix that. Thanx :D |
