For an upcoming adventure I need an Evil Dryad-like or Nymph-like creature as an NPC.

Any ideas ??

How about an Evil Dryad or an Evil Nymph?

Just use an advanced hag (doesn't really matter which kind) that's capable of casting disguise self to look like a dryad or nymph. It's what I did in a campaign a while back.

Or a corrupted dryad/nymph.

The Glaistig from the MM III is a nymphly fey that uses a 'beguiling song' to attract victims and then sucks their blood. They are generally chaotic neutral, but a chaotic evil one wouldn't be too difficult. She's a CR 6, though there is a more powerful one called a Glaistig Mindbender thats a CR 8.

Unseelie Nymph (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mm/20020112a); you'll need to update her a little bit so she fits in with the 3.5 rules (I reccommend adding DR 10/cold iron at the least).

*sigh* I really wish that some of these articles had gone on for a bit longer but really, I miss it back when the D&D homepage had more free web enhancements coming out, loads of articles with new creatures or spells and just generally stuff that was useful, unlike the miniatures previews which take up space that could be used for nice articles that had an actual use.

I second this. What's wrong with just saying "Screw it" To the aligment rules of a monster?

If you must have something reflecting the evilness, just give it the Fiendish template, and say it was corrupted somehow.

Their abilities don't fit the flavor of the encounter.

Or a corrupted dryad/nymph.
Is this a template ?? If so, where's it from ??

This is more what I was looking for. Thanx.
