This is an attempt to stat out the exit mice from the video game Earthbound. For those of you who haven't played Earthbound, towards the beginning of the game you come across a bunch of mice, one of which offers to go along with you, these mice can infallably find their ways out of the many labyrinthine caves found in the game and are called "Exit mice", here are 3 versions of what their stats might be in D&D:

Exit Mouse
Diminutive Magical Beast
HD: 1/8 d8
Initiative:+3 (Dex)
Speed: 15 feet, Climb 15 feet
AC: 17 (+4 Size, +3 Dex)
Attacks: Bite +7 melee
Damage: Bite 1d2-4
Face/Reach: 1 ft by 1 ft/ 0 feet
Saves: Fort +2, Ref +5, Will +1
Abilities: Str 2, Dex 16, Con 10, Int 10, Wis 13, Cha 10
Skills: Balance +11, Climb +13, hide +19, Move Silently +11, Intuit Direction +5 (See footnote)
Climate/Terrain: Any land of underground
Organization: Family (2-5), or else just one hanging around with some kid with powerful psionic abilities.
Alignment: Any

SKills: Exit mice recieve +4 bonuses to hide and Move Silently checks, and a +8 bonus to balance checks, and use their Dex modifiers for climb checks. Exit Mice recieve a +80 bonus to any of the uses of Intuit Directrion described in the Epic Level Handbook.

Uh I just realized that I don't have the time to type up my other variations on the exit mouse right now, so I'll just describe them:
my second idea for how to change the exit mouse into a D&D creature was to, instead of giving it the +80 bonus to Intuit direction, give it the psionic ability "Anchored Navigation" at will, and the thind, and most straightforeward idea was to give it the "Natural Cunning" ability, like a minotaur, rather than the skill bonus or the anchored navigation power.

Could you respond and tell me which variation seems most similar to the Exit Mouse?

Perhaps an ability similar to the minotaurs?

Just what I was thinking. An automatic ability to find their way out of a maze (as per the maze spell) in the minimum amount of time.

Giving them the Natural Cunning ability like a minotaur was one of my other ideas for them. I even mentioned that at the bottom of the first post.

Speaking of the new age retro hippie... Is it supposed to be ironic that a hippie attacks you?

At any rate "New age retro-hippie" would be more of a class or prestige class than a seperate type of creature, and I'm not good at writing balanced prestige classes, so I won't stat it out.

However, if you give me a few days, I COULD come up with the stats for some other creatures from Earthbound; like the Mr.Saturns. DOING! BOING! DING-DING!
