Exotic Mounts [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-20-06, 09:36 PM I was trying to figure up some nifty mounts for my BBEG, and I came about a winged Bulette. Was are yalls suggestions for nifty mounts. (other than dragons and a Tarrasque).

Redundant, though. They have a fly speed.

For BBEG mounts, nothing beats big and scary. Colossal vermin are fun.

09-21-06, 01:50 AM Effigies. Artificers can pump them out with a simple Craft Construct feat, and they're both easier to care for and usully tougher than their base creature.

Plus, sending an artificer-buffed effigy elephant trampling hither and yon over your opponent's troops is just amusing.

Otherwise, monstrous vermin always look cool.

09-24-06, 12:51 AM hmmm... hard to say without details of the BBEG... but - and blame yu-yu hakusho for that - a Devastation Vermin is just perfect: It´s a mount for you and if it´s a scarab/beetle you can also place a small fort on it´s back.. :D
