EXP from monsters [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-18-04, 01:35 PM Y'know, I have been combing through the monster manual, and nowhere does it say how much EXP each monster gives. Could someone tell me where I can find this? Also, on a side note, does anyone know where I can get scale models of the monsters? I.e., like the things in the back of the DM's guide, but for monsters? Thank you.

07-18-04, 01:52 PM The XP for monsters is in the DMG. There's a chart that compairs the level of the PCs to the CR of the monster, and awards XP accordingly. Keep in mind that the chart refers only to a single monster, and you need to divide the XP by the number of PCs in the group.

For scale model creatures, pick up some D&D Minis. Just ask your local D&D retailer for more information.

07-18-04, 01:53 PM I dunno since I don't have a MM, but to answer your second question, if you want some miniature monsters, try D&D minis (http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=30&forumid=384). You can buy them at most any gaming store. :w:

Thank you. Yes, I knew of dividing, but i still needed the base amounts. Of course, for the models, i was sort of refering to like, ones that you can print out, sized to fit the one inch grid. (i'm not paying $10-$20 for a pack that MIGHT have the figures that I am looking for)
