The Admiral 10-23-04, 10:49 PM	My friend and I were doing a mock battle and we had a lycanthrope that had enough class levels to give him an extra attack if he used a weapon. Though we were just using natural claw attacks and in the example of the dire werewolf he doesn't get extra attacks from his class levels. Wouldn't leveling give them the experience to get better at using their own claw attacks more than just twice in a round? It makes sense to us.

Look at it this way: A great wyrm red dragon has a BAB of +40. What do you think of that same red dragon being able to have multiple attacks due to its high BAB with all of it's natural weapons? Recall it has a bite, claw x2, tail, and wing attack x2. Also note that if that same dragon had 20 levels of fighter he would now have a BAB of +60. These class levels would not allow iterative (again sp) attacks. If the dragon chose to it could fight with a sword (or some other non-natural weapon) and use it's iterative (yep sp) attacks.
