10-08-03, 11:35 PM :confused:Which creatures have (respectively):
a) The largest range of Blindsense
b) The largest range of Blindsight
c) The largest range of Tremorsense
d) The largest range of Darkvision

I know it sounds silly, like I could research it on my own, but first of all, I only own the MM and not MM II or the Fiend Folio, and second of all, I simply don't have much time to myself to search every monster entry and write down page numbers and notes and cross-check and whatnot...so, don't go out of your way or anything, but if you happen to have that kind of free time (and I know some members of this forum do, as I used to be one of them), maybe you could check?

Thanks in advance!

10-12-03, 04:43 PM *cough* No one at all? :bump:
Mordenkainen's Rubber Duck of DOOM
10-12-03, 05:16 PM Dragons will ahve the largest Blindsense, or Blindsight (3.0).

Would Gods count? They can see for miles....

Whoa. That's huge! Thanks!

10-12-03, 09:11 PM Umbral Blot also has Blindsight 200 ft., so it's a tie. I'm not sure about the biggest darkvision creature.

10-12-03, 09:34 PM So what. Kurtulmak probably has about Blindsight several miles.

10-12-03, 10:16 PM Oh, yeah, Deities:

Moradin gets senses (Darkvision included) up to 19 miles.

The highest Low Light Vision is Correllon Latethian, who has senses and low-light up to 19 miles.

Tremorsense? Unsure.

10-12-03, 10:35 PM Bahamut and Tiamat have 3.0 Blindsight 10 miles, so it follows that they get Blindsense 10 miles in 3.5.

10-13-03, 01:47 PM Heh, as deadly huge as that is, I was looking for non-unique creatures! Thanks anyway though...it's good to know someone has low-light vision for miles. Man, Corellon must feel shafted in the powers department. "If you've got a torch on, I can see for miles! Hey...hey who turned out the lights...GRUUUUUUMSH!!"
