Its body is a small ornate cluster of bright burning lanterns, ghostly candles, incorporeal miniature winged humanoid figures and formations resembling a firefly's abdomen. Will O' wisps are playful spirits of the forest. They delight in all that glows and sparks, in the fireflies and glowing fungi, in flickering torches and shadowy lanterns. They are sometimes attracted by bright lights during the night. In general the are eager to follow sources of bright light and attend places of music and revelling such as local festivals or celebrations. Such places of joy and excitement they guard and it is believed that they bless participants at such occasion with good fortune. The one thing Will O' Wisps delight in most is fireworks. Combat: Will O' Wisps maintain their evasive and playful attitude even in battle, dodging, darting, and bewildering. Glow(ex): Will O' Wisps constantly shed a 5ft radius of bright light. They can choose to dim this to normal or shadowy as a quickened action, but they cannot fully extinguish it. Once per minute they can extend it to a 20ft radius for a duration of 1d4 rounds plus their constitution modifier. | feartheinvinceblehamster03-02-06, 10:08 AM | I like it...Do you EVER run out of ideas, read my glowing claw-like finger? (happy now? I used your full title) |
| R.M.G.C.L.F.03-02-06, 11:16 AM | No, I don't run out, and yes, I do like hearing my full SN. |
| Talisman03-03-06, 03:39 PM | I like my fey less glittery, but this looks cool. A solid CR 1, as it's not dangerous enough for 2 and too tough for 1/2. |
| R.M.G.C.L.F.03-03-06, 10:30 PM | Well, I feel glittery s a somewhat essential role. Also, these are loosely inspired by the concept of "orbs", something I heard about in my homeroom, glowing balls that show up on film that supposedly celibrate with you. |
