| Zyphus01-30-05, 09:23 AM | Would a zombie Troll still regenerate? For some reason I thought applying an undead template got rid of EX and SU abilities, but I don't see that in the rules. Any rule lawyers around to argue for or against losing all EX and SU abilities of the base creature? Z |
| ThoughtfulOwl01-30-05, 09:37 AM | Straight from the rules: Special Qualities: A zombie loses most special qualities of the base creature. It retains any extraordinary special qualities that improve its melee or ranged attacks. Since they don't improve attacks, both regeneration and fast healing are lost. |
| was_fired01-30-05, 06:08 PM | Also under the description of regenerate it states that undead may not have this special quality. |

And I never noticed the SQ on Skeleton and Zombie before. Makes them even more useless than I thought. So a troll Zombie would look really scary, but actually wouldn't be that dangerous at all since it would only get one attack and can't regenerate. Cool, there is even a CR chart - 8-10 HD = CR 3! |
