| Slashatme04-07-06, 08:20 PM | Just wondering to everyone, what's your favorite cohort of any level? I'm looking for one of level 20 and just thought it would be interesting to see everyone's opinions on what cohorts there are out there for everyone. My goal is a level 17 cohort that's some form of evil. |

Even a normal Nightmare with some HD advancment wouldnt be bad either. A succubus aint bad with some PC levels...good cohort who can gather info, charm your enemy's and can get around fast. My fave cohort i ever had tho, while super high was a Nightwalker my guy created and got with the ritual wish (from the book of vile darkness). The soul and body used were from a Solar my Cleric killed...was a nice friend to have around. A vampire wouldnt be bad either, or illithid, beholder all of them give you some nice abilities for defense as well as offense. Up to you i guess |
| Terraneaux04-08-06, 07:17 AM | Once in an Evil campaign I had an Erinyes Mortal Hunter as a cohort. It was really annoying though because the other characters were drooling all over her due to the MM picture i guess. It took a while to remind them of the fact that the erinyes is a spirit of punishment, and not kinky "punishment" like they were thinking, but of punishing the (not)guilty. |

| forrestfire1504-13-06, 02:38 PM | I found it fun to have a death slaad with 2 fighter levels as a cohort. If you have one, you basicly have an army of animated objects at your command  . You also have a fighter with 3d6+5 claw damage and finger of death, fireball, and implosion as spell-like abilities. :D |
| pileobone04-13-06, 02:43 PM | My favorite cohort was a 17'th level Half-Orc Monk/Reaping mauler. He was big dumb and ugly, but a 70 ft. land speed and a +57 jump check made him fun as hell to play. |
