| RobbyPants10-24-07, 10:31 AM | Probably the erinyes. http://mariwood.www4.50megs.com/images/diterlizzi-11.jpg As for a reason? It's a combination of me tending to like devils more than demons, I like the human-like devil apperance, and the slew of abilities. I've used these as both protagonist and antagoinist NPCs before. It really has nothing to do with the power of them, and everything to do with their flavor. I've added class levels or the occasional template (phrenic (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/monsters/phrenicCreature.htm) to be specific) for various games. |

| Shemeska the Marauder10-25-07, 02:07 AM | Probably the baernaloth. Being the eldest fiends who created the yugoloths as servants, and created the obyriths and ancient baatorians to seed the still forming Abyss and Baator with... can't go wrong there. http://arcanofox.foxpaws.net/Baernaloth1 And having written a few thousand pages of a storyhour with them as some of the primary antagonists, and featured them in a dozen or so stories on the side, I like them on another level because I've put so much work into developing them for my own use. ;) |

I can see why even a god would be intimidated. |

Indeed, that's the race of primordial fiends from that story (http://www.planewalker.com/entry.php?intEntryID=29528). I've used a pantheon of sorts of around 15 or so specific baernaloths in my stuff, though of them only two are canonical (one from 2e's Hellbound, and one of mine from Dragon 353). The particular one in that story, Jezifreth na Harsindrian the Inquisitor, deviates in form slightly from the default. |
| Jonijonh10-26-07, 03:14 PM | I like ALL Devils... And I mean all of them... Why? I like their "style" if you know what i mean... :D Plus the Nine Hells are just plain... cool. Quote from Fiendish Codex II - "The Gods exist in multiplicity, but Asmodeus is unique" hehehe...:D |
