felldrake list [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-18-05, 06:39 PM I am looking for all of the Felldrakes, including homebrews.

I know about crested, spitting and horned from MM2 and spiked from Draconomicon, but where can I find the rest? (if any)

- Second, when someone is posting a monster, it is for getting a feedback, a positive and constructive feedback, NOT a destructive and insulting one.
- Third, have you noticed that you're the only member of this board who is actually complaining without helping us out about the recent felldrakes, created by cwslyclgh and myself ? The rest is showing cooperation and kinship.
- Fourth, if you don't like what we did for your list, than don't go off and start argueing and insulting our work. You take it or you leave it, but you never, NEVER try to destroy it nor to complaint about it. Is that clear ?

We worked really hard to create these monsters, and what do we get from you ? Some arguments, some anger, fury, disappointment, but not any help from your part.

You kept complaining about a so-called rule about wingless dragons. Are you saying you will argue with your DM because he has pitted you against a winged felldrake, which was just a half-silver dragon/spiked felldrake ? Weird, it looks just like my platinum felldrake, but the DM won't tell his secrets. Perhaps he tweeked the rules and put the winged template or a felldrake or he put a permanent dragon breath on it. Then to mask it, he came up with a new name.

Now, if you would be so kind, apologize to us all, and stop argueing about felldrakes. May I remind you that anything is possible in a Dungeons & Dragons world.

One is a guardian of important items, and mainly uses its tail in combat, which carries a paralyzing venom (useful for nonlethal takedowns of thieves that may need interrogation!). The other is prominently used in a similar fashion to a hunting dog, and has no distinguishing physical features that are necessary to its combat style. I was thinking a bony ridge on the back, but "Ridged Felldrake" doesn't sound quite right to me.

Any help with names for those two?

Some of Dragon magazine's monsters come from finalized monsters submitted by them, like the brainstealer dragon.

whip-tailed felldrake is a good name for the first one

12-23-05, 05:32 PM Personally, I felt it would have been better to say something like "I appreciate your effort in creating your felldrakes, but I don't think I will be using them in my game." And read this (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=8073598#post8073598) for my personal opinion about felldrakes (feel free to politely agree or disagree with me, people).
