Female.... cambion? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Now, if you just had the same reaction as me, it probably sounded somewhat like this "Bzzwaah" followed by a perplexed expression. Okay, maybe this doesn't sound odd to people but it certainly threw me off.

I just went and completed BGII: The Throne of Bhaal, again, but this was the first time I did so with Haer'Dalis in my party. His little "Animal Housesque" biography at the end mentioned that prior to him accidentally leading a revolt in the hells and becoming the most hunted man in all the planes, he ran away with a female cambion.

Now I always thought that cambions were always male and alu-fiends were always the female ones (prior to 3ed where they got rolled into the half-fiend template). Am I wrong or did someone not do their research when making BGII?

Thanks

They probably just goofed, or they meant to say alu-fiend. In any event they're wrong, but it's not a huge goof.

Or maybe there is a little something we don't know about our friend. Wink Wink.

Yes, I figured that it was just one slip up. They were pretty good in the game at giving alu-fiends female bodies and cambions male ones.

... Then again, the surprises that fiends can have in store for mortals on their nupital night are more than I ever care to imagine.
