one of my players is a lvl 1 Feral Minataur hisstrength is 20 something and his intelligence is 2 he is always bragging about how is character is so much cooler and better thatn everyone elses can anyone give me some drawbacks to having an intelligence of 2 thank you

That is not enough to be more than an animal. the DM should never have allowed it. and the player is either young or immature, probable munchkin as well.this is why it is best to dissallow templates, espesially one that reduces the character to the mind of an animal!

He can't plan, can't weild weapons and most likely can't speak.

For his Strength of 20, he can only learn tricks like an animal companion.

This is why he fails.

Can't talk, can't take levels in any class (PC or NPC). Quite a drawback.

Last time I had a character in one of my games get reduced to that level of intelligence, he drooled a lot. And then got eaten by zombies (and/or other undead nasties) when he wandered into the Forest of the Dead.

did you continue role playing your dead character? I love that template, it gives me time to work on another character.
