| Tevish Szat08-04-05, 12:03 AM | Another Fey exemplar, this one true neutral. I'm not as satisfyed with it as with my previous works... i don;t know.. .the good and evil ones came a lot easier and were a lot more... fey-like. I humbly, however, submit the Champion of Balance, in all its fey glory, for review. Champion of Balance Medium-sized Fey Hit Dice: 14d6+56 (105hp) Initiative: +4 (Dex) Speed: Fly 30' Armor Class: 20 (+4 Dex, +6 Natural) Attack: 8 touches +11 touch Damage: Touch 1d6 fire, Touch 1d6 cold, Touch 1d6 electricity, Touch 1d6 acid, Touch 1d6 Holy, Touch 1d6 Unholy, Touch 1d6 Anarchic, Touch 1d6 Axiomatic. As such, it might be expected to hold in check the forces of good, evil, law, and chaos all alike. However, unlike their other Fey exemplars of neutrality, and unlike the Rilmani, they, as spirits of nature, also maintain the inner and outer balance of the four elements A champion appears as a humanoid torso covered in a checkerboard almost of black and white, the skin smooth and featureless. The head is hairless and featureless, save for four eyes, arranged equidistant from one another. The eyes themselves are, beneath the lids, balls of colored flames. Its body has no front and back, from the torso come eight arms that end In humanoid hands. Four are white, and of the white arms the hands are wreathed in flame, covered in rime, dripping acid, and sparking with lightning the four other arms, between the four white arms, are blacked, and wreathed in visible auras of each cardinal alignment. The torso, rather than having legs attached, trails off like one large, insubstantial tail in neutral grey. Combat: Champions are sent fourth by the mysterious fey powers of the balance to restore what has been damaged. They will attack their targets without remorse, and in any combat, including one forced upon them by others than their target, they will use their abilities to their full potential. Know Alignment(Su): A Champion of balance knows the alignment of any creature it looks upon, unless blocked by magic. Elemental Avatars(Su): Once per day, a Champion of balance may split into four elder elementals, one of each type it remains split for 10 rounds. The champion is restored as long as at least one of the elementals survives until reforming. So long as the champion’s mind and soul can reside in one of them, the elements inherent in the destroyed elementals are recovered to reform the original champion. Opposition(Su): At will, a champion of Balance may become an exact copy of an opponent, with all abilities and equipment, for 10 rounds. The Champion retains its own mind, Aside from thwe differences mentioned, this is like hte copy made by a Mirror of Opposition. The champion uses this ability only when fighting one-on-one against its intended target, or when desperate against an otherwise superior foe. Balanced Essence(Su): Spells and effects that effect a target based on alignment (Such as alignment based damage, Holy Word, etc.) Have no effect on the Champion of Balance. |

| savant_warlord1312-05-05, 03:38 PM | It should really have a higher natural armor bonus, and if you follow that suggestion, raise the CR by one |
