What's too strong about them? They have +2 Dex, +2 Cha, -2 Con, one 1/day ability, low-light vision, immunity to mind-affecting effects, and +2 to two skills. That's pretty much it..

I take issue with the immunity to all mind-affecting effects. Thats waaay too strong. Takes out an entire school of magic, and a good chunk of the psionic powers.

A fey-touched psion would be something to fear.

Well.. If you remove that, you have, basically, an LA +0 race. Would you say that immunity is worth more than 1 LA?

I'd say the immunity is a +2 LA at least. There is a PrC called the Illithid Slayer that doesn't let you have that kinda of immunity till you've taken 9 levels in it. Basically for an LA of +1 they get the benefits that takes many levels in speciality classes by other races.

If you aren't going to be meeting any mind-affecting creatures in your game, its not powerful at all, but in other circumstances they could go where angels would fear to tread :mymy:

The feytouched are definitely not a LA +2 race, though the immunity to MA effects is a bit too much (for any LA).

Option 1: Replace it with a +4 bonus on Will saves vs. MA effects.

Option 2: Leave the imunity, but change the creature type to humanoid so that certain humanoid-only spells could effect it, downgrading the race a bit.
