Shin_Okada 10-06-04, 08:49 AM	As far as I know, a template does not change BAB of the base creature unless otherwise noted, right? Then why Half-Troll Barbazu has Base Attack of +4, not +6? There is no "attacks" entry in the template. And the original creature has BAB of +6. Am I missing something?
Ogre4Hire 10-06-04, 01:54 PM	They were smoking some funny stuff when they wrote up the templates in the FF. Unlike EVERY OTHER BOOK THEY'VE EVER WRITTEN FOR 3E, they decided to change the base HD, Saves and BAB for creature who got a "type" change. They also went against the basic rules for changing type, as well, which is how the Barbazu somehow became a giant (it should have stayed an Outsider). The same funny stuff also applies to the Half-Fey Centaur and Half-Illithid Lizardfolk, as well.
