Alright, I'm looking at the vorr's entry and I have the Feind Folio update open, but it is useless, so I'll bring this up to the boards.

The vorr has the ability to assume shadow form for 10 minutes a day which grants it, among other traits, damage reduction 50/+5. For us 3.5 players, what would this translate to exactly? They seemed to have missed this in the update, so I'm guessing damage reduction 25/magic and cold iron would be appropriate, since they are chaotic evil outsiders. What does everyone else think?

And on a side note, the update says, after the section on updated damage reduction, that "a few monsters, mostly fey creatures, that do not have damage reduction indicated in their Fiend Folio entry gain it under the
revised D&D rules. This makes the fey presented in the Fiend Folio
consistent with the revised fey in the Monster Manual."

Which of the fey in the Folio would get damage reduction under the new rules, since I'm not sure what rule they are referring to specifically.

Thanks.

Damage reduction 25/magic sounds good, although cold iron may not be appropriate as it is not listed for all chaotic evil outsiders. It may be just a case by case ability.

All the fey in the Monster Manual have DR 5/cold iron (Pixies have 10/cold iron). So I would give all fey at least DR 5/cold iron.

As for the fey, just look at the update booklet.

For that kind of DR I'd say make it 15/holy and magic. Most creatures that have DR cold iron are fey, and specificaly tanar'ri. I havn't seen any chaotic evil outsiders outside of the tanar'ri demons that get cold iron in thier DR (that I can remember at any rate).

Good points about the cold iron. I just figured that their damage reduction should be particularly hard to overcome and having it negated by just magic makes it pretty weak, though at 4th level, I guess that is appropriate as no-one should really have a magic weapon unless the DM is handing them out like candy.

As for the fey, just look at the update booklet. I... did... that is why I am asking here. Fey like shadar-kai don't have damage reduction in the FF and they don't gain it specifically in the update, yet the update says that all fey have damage reduction now. But, now I now that they should have 5/cold iron, so that's the result of asking when I don't have the answers myself.
