| Dwarflord66612-10-05, 04:33 PM | I have wondered this: are they possible? |
| General_Ridley12-10-05, 05:37 PM | Template says it can be applied to a dragon, right? yes. |
| Darknecromancer12-10-05, 08:03 PM | Yes they can, if fact, there is a dragon-only class in Draconomicon to turn them fiendish. |
| Wolf7212-10-05, 08:07 PM | I have wondered this: are they possible? why not? they'd get a smite attack ... additional resistances, possibly better SR (take the higher of the two), possibly higher DR (take the better of the two). |
| dok12-10-05, 08:35 PM | The templates can be applied to creatures with the "Dragon" type. The Draconomicon also has a section of "Planar Dragons" with abilities customized to specific planes (Carcerai, Acheron, the river Styx, etc.) |
| Wyrd Bearer12-10-05, 08:59 PM | Yes, there can be half-celestial and half-fiend dragons. I've even used a half-celestial gold-dragon and sent it against a party of evil PCs (these guys were really bad boys). I described the dragon as being in human form who approched the party and warned them to turn back and mend their ways. The party laughed and tried to attack. The human before them shrugged and leapt into the air, transforming into a gold-dragon with huge feathered wings (instead of those wierd flaps like the normal drawing) and a nimbus of light glowing around its head. Needless to say, it was an interesting fight. |
