Picked up an interesting mini, and trying to think of stats and abilities to assign it.

I would like to use it as a ship's figurehead that, either before or after being seperated from its ship was enchanted as a construct. Leaning toward made into some sort of construct while still attached to the ship, but honestly seem to be having trouble coming up with the benefits of that so far.
I'm thinking of using Caryatid Column (Fiend Folio, pg.30) as a basis, it feels similar in spirit to what I'm looking for. Though I'm unsure what, if any, abilities to add in place of the stone-specific ones with this wooden figurehead.
Also, in the half formed idea that surrounds my purcash of this figure, I'm thinking the one that the PCs encounter will have been awakened, with important information but dejected due to the wreck/loss of the ship/crew it was/is attached to, so low base CR can be good if I might augment with class levels. The next question is how to cheer up a depressed awakened figurehead enough to get information out of it.. :plotting:
Perhaps it was less powerful initially, simply an animated figurehead given life to entertain the crew/captain. Perhaps they were cruel and forceful in getting it to cooperate, threatening with fire or axes if she didn't sing for them, perhaps as a bard for bonuses as they worked/fought, and is desponent about the crew /not/ being lost, or they and the ship were lost with her aid but she is still trapped. Or perhaps the PCs defeat the crew and find that the bard they heard aiding the enemy was the figurehead.. OR the course of the battle changed when the figurehead started bolstering them instead of her 'owners'.. Hrmm..

As you can tell, my gears are turning well plot-wise, but I would appreciate any suggestions as to good stating for it.
-Thanks in advance.
