Hello all,

I am creating a monster for an upcoming adventure and I am a bit stuck.

It is a large monstrous humanoid and I don't quite know what the base damage for its claw attack would be. I can figure out what its strength bonus to the damage is (duh!) but not sure what the base would be or where to find that info.

Could one of y'all help a DM out?

Thanks for any info!

Erasmus.

the suggested claw damage for a large creature is 1d6, however you should feel free to adjust this depending on if you think the claws are more or less dangerous then the average (or simply use the suggested value at your choiuce)... for exampole trolls use the average value of 1d6, where as Hezrou Demons use a claw value of 1d8, to representmore dangerous claws etc.)

basicaly it is use your best judgement but don't make it to terribly far from 1d6.
