Here is my Idea. Lets work together to make a netbook for this game.

Here is moster list of the game

Offcourse, many monsters already have the version of d&d but lets imaging a new kind of goblin for exemple that live in Final Fantast I world.

If we do a monster for day, in the end we will have a new book of monsters. Really cool! :D

Lets Start with goblin for the day 02/10/2006, Guard Goblin for 02/11/2006.

Good work.

ps. Images off the monster at www.google.com images :D

Crazy Horses are a variant of normal light horses. Crazy Horses could not be domesticated cause his wild and freak temperament. However, there is some Crazy horses used by wizards, domesticated with magic.

A domesticated Crazy Horse worth 2000gp because of his Improved Enduranced and rarity.

Just... why? Most of the monsters in FF1 already have analogues in D&D. Now, I'm not saying statting up the frost gator would be a bad idea, but, heck, a hefty chunk of them are direct ripoffs of D&D monsters in the first place. Eye? Beholder. Kary? Marilith. Sahag? Sauhagin. Wizard (and associated recolors)? Go ahead and say that thing's not a mind flayer. Lich? Uh... lich. Another big chunk are either animals, or completely generic, and already have D&D stats for that reason. Do we really need another set of stats for wolves? I doubt there are more than a couple dozen monsters in that game that are worth statting. Not because they're bad, just because it's been done.
If you insist on doing this, at least have the sense to use class levels where it's appropriate. Grey imps aren't a separate species, they're imps with an extra level of warrior.

P.S.: I hereby mock you for calling imps goblins. I don't care if it's a more accurate translation, or if similar-looking critters have been called goblins in subsequent games, in FF1 they are imps.

Ouch. Learn how to calculate HP, pal. And attack bonus. And AC. And pretty much everything that a monster has.

I also agree with Vanigo that this effort is rather pointless.

Actually, they're called Bakemono originally. Bakemono are typically identified with D&D goblins when done in D&D settings (Such as OA, a bakemono is a goblin subrace.)

Did you not read the second sentence there, in which I explicitly state that I don't care if it's a more accurate translation?
(Don't care about the GBA version, either, when you get right down to it.)
