| Ginyu54902-29-04, 03:36 PM | OK, So in the description of the Fir elemental in 3.5 it says if you catch on fire you can take a move action to extinguish the flames, but in DMG 3.5 it doesn't mention anything like that (pg304) It says you can roll on the floor or something and get a +4 to your save to put out the flames. So, why can you automatically extingush flames from catching on fire from an (Elder) Fire Elemental, but normal flames are more difficult. Also, In the description of the elemental it doesn't mention anything about how much damage you take for catching on fire, (thats why I looked in the DMG) and I wondered if the DC for putting out the flames would be the 15 DC mentioned in the DMG, or the 26 for an elder fire elemental, and would the fire damage be the d6 from the DMG or the 2d8 for the fire elemental? Whatcha think? |
