It has oddly long wings, legs and neck, and a tendency to breathe fire when it gets upset. Its feathers are prized for their thickness, and its skin for its resilience. COMBAT FOODs will first attempt to retreat from a hostile situation, but fight wildly as soon as they are attacked. A FOOD is so clumsy at flying that it never attempts to fly in combat. Fire Breath (Ex) A FOOD can breathe a ball of fire dealing 1d6 points of fire damage per 2HD of the FOOD in the target area. If the FOOD is Medium, this ability targets a 10x5x5 foot space. If the FOOD is Large, it instead targets a 10x10x10 foot space. Reflex DC 17 (10+HD+½Con mod) halves. I wrote this when I was up far too late one night and decided it was worth posting just for fun. Comments welcome. |

| dengarbountyhunter04-29-06, 04:08 PM | simply great! the "fire ... of doom" could easily be applied to other animals (fire otter of doom, fire okapi of doom, just to give those that still make F.O.O.D.)... why not make it a template? |
| metamind04-29-06, 06:08 PM | You should make firebreathing X of doom a template. |
