| Lord_Cravic03-27-06, 10:35 PM | okay...i need advice..... Created my own world for 3.5 D&D to which my players have succesfully become level 14, and have introduced 2 new players to RPing in general through this world (dear lord the workload)...been DMing and GMing since 1995 starting with Robotech in Palladium, DMed my first 2nd ed AD&D game in 1998. Now that you know my basic carrer and knowledge level i need help in creating an epic level villain for my 3.5 world and campaign. This monster is not currently in any 3rd ed book i or anyone else knows of. But i think it would be a grand idea and want to create it; the problem comes in creating a suitable Level adjustment for the monster, there is no apparent guidline for making LA's for monsters. Now for the monster i want to convert from 2nf ed AD&D..... are you ready?? Your sure now......? I will tell and leave any amount of advice that can be given as most appreciative.....DMing 3.5 i've gotten the handle of...creating monsters from scratch makes me scratch my head just a bit. The Molydeus is what i want to make |
| Raymond_Luxury_Yacht03-27-06, 10:38 PM | It got converted by another poster. Let me see if I can dig it up. Edit: Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find it. I'm sure someone else will be able to provide you with the link. |

Well, the good news is that unless one of the players wants to be a monster, you don't need a Level-Adjustment! Level-Adjustment isn't necessary for villians, non-player characters (other than cohorts), monsters, or anything else that doesn't hit the PC-side of the table. |
