This is loosely based off a character from a favorite web-comic of mine, Bruno the Bandit (http://www.brunothebandit.com/d/19980720.html). So here we go. Pigasus Large Magical Beast Hit Dice: 5d10+25 (52 hp) Initiative: -1 Speed: 20 ft. (4 squares), fly 80 ft. (average). Armor Class: 11 (-1 size, -1 Dex, +3 natural), touch 8, flat-footed 11 Base Attack/Grapple: +5/+13 Attack: Hoof +8 (1d4+4) Full Attack: 2 Hooves +8 (1d4+4) Space/Reach: 10 ft./10t. Special Attacks: Special Qualities: Darkvision 60 ft., scent Saves: Fort +9, Ref +3, Will +3 Abilities: Str 19, Dex 8, Con 20, Int 13, Wis 14, Cha 12 Skills: Diplomacy +9, Profession(“any business related”) +13, Sense Motive +10 Feats: Hover, Skill Focus(Profession) Environment: Any Organization: Solitary or Pair Challenge Rating: 3 Treasure: Double Standard Alignment: Usually Lawful Neutral Advancement: 5-10 HD (Large) Level Adjustment: +2 (cohort) High above you, a winged creature soars majestically through the skies. Slowly lowering in tightening circles, it approaches the ground. As it nears you an make its distinctive feathered wings and its magnificent porcine body. Landing nimbly, the horse-sized, winged piggy dismounts its passenger and turns. You see a nicely made sign hanging from its flanks “Air Taxi: Service with a snout!” Pigasi are the lesser known cousins of the Pegasus. Generally disregarded as stinky and obnoxious, pigasi are actually very shrewd business swine that possess remarkable skill in running and maintaining businesses. Although they prefer to run businesses from behind the scenes, many Pigasi start their career as a second rate taxi service; ferrying people across expansive cities, or over large bodies of water. Most Pigasi are happy maintaining a successful and law-abiding business, however some are drawn to evil and make very successful crime lords and drug runners. Although a Pigasus will always try and achieve the upper hand in a deal, he will almost always keep his word, in his own way. A Pigasus normally stands about 5 to 5 and ˝ feet tall, and weight in about 2,100 lbs. Pigasi speak Common and Pig-Latin (haha) Combat: Pigasi refuse to enter combat voluntarily. They consider battle a crude, pointless exercise, and a waste of time. If forced into a corner with no means of escape, a Pigasus will lash out with its hooves, using its massive weight to its advantage. Training: Pigasi refuse to be trained, and will not enter combat. They sometimes allow creatures to ride them, for a fee of course. Riding a Pigasus requires an exotic saddle. Carrying Capacity: A light load for a Pigasus is up to 306 pounds; a medium load, 307-613 pounds; and a heavy load, 614-920 pounds. A Pigasus can drag 4,600 pounds. |
