| Wolf7211-23-04, 12:51 PM | if you're just looking for a forest-y type dragon, check out the Draconomicon ... it's got a a forest dragon (static HD though, no age categories) |
| obrysii11-23-04, 09:08 PM | A recent Dragon magazine had an Arboreal Dragon |
| R.M.G.C.L.F.11-23-04, 09:26 PM | Interesting. I would add command plants and entangle in there somewhere though. |
| Raymond_Luxury_Yacht11-23-04, 10:28 PM | Sorry but It's crap what do you think the greendragon is for Flaming is against the CoC. |
| KangsRegiment11-24-04, 05:35 PM | Okay, a couple of things: Forest dragons are part of a line of nature-based dragons, whose namesakes and such mimic the elemental drakes and landwyrms from Draconomicon, but are more closely related to true dragons. Forest dragons represent rivals to the green dragons, seeking to protect the forest instead of twisting it to their own desires. Adding entangle for 3/day at the very young stage may work, but I wouldn't want them to become overbalanced. Also, I forgot to add that they receive a +8 racial bonus to Hide cheks when in overgrown and forested areas, due to tiger-stripe like patterns that cover their bodies. |
