This is a creature I made for my game. I know it has a lot of flaws but I need people to point them out, so If someone would be so kind as to do so, please do... :D

Forest Stalker
Medium Animal

Challenge Rating: 2
Treasure: None
Alignment: Always Neutral
Advancement: None
Level Adjustment: -

*+4 Racial bonus to hide due to their camouflaged hides.

“You hear a low guttural sound coming from the woods. A Massive four-legged creature stands on its rough-furless hide covered legs reaching up into the tree with its other two clawed tree-trunks of limbs. It turns its massive head to you, where two teeth jut from its lower jaw to reveal several smaller, sharp yellow teeth to you.”

Forest Stalkers prowl the ancient fairy infested forests, leaving only carnage in there wakes. They hunt for any type of game and will resort to pack techniques if needed, being the strict carnivores they are. They resemble a bear somewhat, save that they lack fur all together, but have a think green-brown reptilian hide in its place. There lower jaw is somewhat larger then a regular bear where two tusks like that of wart hog jut from it, among many small yellow teeth.

Combat
Forest Stalkers jump right into combat, ripping and rending their prey with their large claws and biting with their massive tusks, leaving large gouge wounds behind.

Well, I don't see anything wrong with it, but that's probably 'cos I'm STILL a D&D noob.

Base Attack/Grapple: +3/+5
Attack: Bite +5 melee (1d6+4), Claw +2 melee (1d4+2)
Full Attack: Bite +5 melee (1d6+4) and 2 Claws +2 melee (1d4+2)

Animals have a BAB equal to 3/4 their HD (like a cleric). BAB should be +2, grapple +4, and attacks become Bite +4, Claw -1

Abilities: Str 15, Dex 12, Con 14, Int 3, Wis 6, Cha 5

First, to be an "Animal" in D&D terms, it's Int must be 1 or 2 (most mammals have 2). A creature with an Int of 3+ is, by definition, not an animal. Probably a Magical Beast.

Why such a lousy Wisdom? Most animals have Wisdoms in the 12-14 range one has to be pretty perceptive to survive in the wilderness!)

Skills: Hide +11*, Listen +3, Spot +3

With 3 HD and an Int of 3, this critter has 6 skill points. You've allocated 15 (5 Hide, 5 Listen, 5 Spot). Skills should be Hide +6 (+4 racial, +2 Dex), Listen +1 (+3 skill, -2 Wis), Spot +1 (+3 skill, -2 Wis).

Feats: None

Every non-mindless (i.e., Int of 1 or more) creature has 1 feat, plus 1 for every 3rd HD. At 3 HD, this thing has 2. You've already given it Multiattack, seemingly; I recommend Alertness for its other feat (bringing its Spot and Listen bonuses up to +3).

Challenge Rating: 2???

CR 2 looks good...compare to the 3 HD, CR 2 Black Bear (http://www.wizards.com/d20/files/v35/MonstersAnimals.rtf)

Alignment: NeutralAdvancement: None

Always neutral? Usually neutral?
I'd go with "always." An animal could adopt a good, evil, lawful or chaotic alignment, but it's about as rare as a non-evil demon.

I just edited it. Thanks for the input. Sorry, I was following that old article that detailed making monsters that came with Dragon Magazine one Month. :D
But wait now... I just made a monster with people not complaining that much... I must be really improving... WOW!

Looks good...only, it looks like you gve it Alertness (judging from the skill bonuses) but forgot to list it as a feat.

The old Dragon article is okay, but it's 3.0, and 3.5 really streamlined and improved the monster creation process.
