Quick question. Formians in MM have their three resistances at 10. FF states they are 20 each.
I assume that the MM is correct and all formians should have resistances at the 10 level. Is that a correct assumption of precendence? Or should the MM types be bumped to the 20 level? Or should the MM types have level 10 and the FF types have 20?

If I'm not mistaken, the FF is 3.0. The MM (assuming you're using 3.5) supercedes it, so resistances are 10.

Good point about FF being before the 3.5 MM revision. I checked the SRD from 3.0 release and the resistances were at the 20 level in the original 3.0 MM. Thus they were dropped to 10 for 3.5, so this should apply to the FF types as well.

You can also check FF 3,5 update booklet from Wizards web site. There's all the changes one needs to make to use the monsters in a 3,5 game.

Actually, the FF revision booklet only covers changes in DR, golem creation, and swarms. There isn't anything relating to this question. Oddly enough, there is a FF errata file but this apparent error isn't listed in there either.
