| The_Last_Rogue02-20-06, 06:37 PM | Basic story - I am creating a homebrew, and for some reason fell in love with the whole hivemind aspect of Formians. In my world, they live - like ants - underground, and have just recently been uncovered by some dwarven clans who were expanding their mines. This is going to lead to a very serious conflict between Dwarves and Formians. However, I need/want to change Formians - They are not outsiders here, so does anyone have any opinions on whether it is better to make the Monstrous Humanoids or Intelligent Vermin as thier type. Any opinions welcome. Thanks. :) |

| The_Last_Rogue02-20-06, 07:26 PM | Hmm that is a good point - I am not worried about LA, they will not be a playable race - I am leaning now towards just making them a Native Outsider and incorporating psionics into them while removing Spell Resistance. Just thoughts. |
| primemover00302-20-06, 08:59 PM | Hmmm??? Insectile Centaurs? Can you say Monstrous Humanoid? |
| obrysii02-20-06, 09:06 PM | I agree. Monstrous Humanoid works well. If a Thri'kreen can be a monstrous humanoid, so can Formians |
