fractional CR adjustments [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-28-05, 02:13 PM Some of the variants in the Libris Mortis book have fractional CR adjuctments. How does this work for creatures with a CR of 1 or higher? Say I'm adding the fast zombie variant (+1/2 CR) to some bugbear zombies (CR 2), does the CR increase to 2.5, do I round up to 3, or do I round down to 2?

05-28-05, 02:30 PM Round up to 3. However, if I recall correctly, the book says to apply these modifiers in pairs.
