The Terminator
I just finished watching the Terminator trilogy tonight, and it really hit me that this held much promise as a roleplaying game. Just the concept of an unstoppable hunter mixed in with an artificially intelligent machine has been used over and over, but Terminator was where it began.

But what would be the stats for this guy in Dungeons and Dragons? Certainly, it would be near epic levels (at least 18 HD in my mind's eye), and all the special attacks and special qualities he would have would go on for a long time.

I am thinking of the Terminator as it is portrayed in Terminator 2: Judgement Day and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. And not the T-X1000 (that was made of liquid metal) nor the superadvanced Terminator from Terminator 3. I am talking about Arnold Schwartzenegger.

Now, in Terminator 1, you didn't see his full capacity of his abilities. I even believe that this model was weaker than the ones seen in the later Terminator flicks. I don't want to capture that guy.

Obviously, the guy would be a Medium-Sized Construct, and I am thinking that he would have something like 18d10 for Hit Dice. A few people might argue more, but remember that it is the creature's damage resistance that makes him so strong, not his hit points.

I will be working on getting his stat block out, but I would like everyone who is willing to take part and create your own version of the Terminator. Also, suggestions on special attacks or special qualities would be in content, as well as stat blocks from other characters from the Terminator Trilogy.

Thank you and have a nice day,

I don't know if 18 HD makes sense... he's good, but not necessarily that good.

I would give him DR 10/adamantine... note that a typical gun in D20 Modern does 2d6 or 2d8 damage, plus he has good natural armor.

In fact, just look at D20 Modern, and maybe give him only a few base Hit Dice plus "Strong Hero + Soldier AdC" training to fill in those extra HD. He'll get a class bonus to Defense of approximately 1/2 levels.

I guess it is a disadvantage that I don't have D20 Modern... :(

Uses D20M, though.

Here's the link to the SRD (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20/article/msrd). It has the statistics for weapons, including guns.

he was completely bullet proof, a typical gun couldnt do anything to him, a flat out 20/- might work

and this is a d&d forum so ill assume hes fighting things using d&d levels and magic, not d20 defence/offence options.

hes also able to shoot out the tires of moving vehicals (good bab) and survive most attacks (good saves), so high HD
