Heres somthing I've been wondering.. Giants can throw big rocks as an attack, but according to their stat block, the can throw only 1 a round, but his BAB gives him 3 attacks-full attack, why not, "OR 3 rocks +X/+X/+X" under full attack. Hmm, for that matter, some other monsters have a similar thing... Can you not toss ranged weapons 3 times, if you have 3 attacks and 3 ranged items, using a full round action?

If a throwing weapon is light enough to be carried one per hand, you can throw one per hand, although the 2nd hand will suffer a penalty w/out 2-weapon fighting. To really use thrown weapons effectly, you need the quickdraw feat. Without it, grapping a new boulder is a move-equivilent action, and thus a full attack of 3 or more goes wasted.

I agree with HeadlessFriar:

I believe their throwing rocks are considered One-Handed Throwing Weapons and thus even if they DID have the Quick Draw feat it would NOT apply to their rocks.

So.. are you/we in agreement that if the giant had quickdraw, he could throw as many rocks as he had attacks? That seems fair. I'll just level up my giants til they can choose that feat or substitute it for another.

Dose it say that thorwing rocks only take one hand, i kinda wonderd how big of rocks they could thorw and how much more dammage digger rocks would end up doing.
