While looking through the 3.0 A&EG, I saw a few weapons catch my eye.
The Sword of Versatility for one. Now, I've been a fan of such a thing since Ronin Warriors (Yoroiden Samurai Troopers), but with Dynasty Warriors 5 refreshing my memory, I've decided to start gathering a list of weapons (magical and mundane) to put into my campaign (provided I can get it started up).

Mundane Weapons:
Katana, Chisa*
The Chisa Katana is a masterwork long sword (a short katana with a tsukagashira with room for only one-hand, in design).

Thus, artistically, the Sword of Versatility thus becomes a double-katana (with due respect for the shorter blade length).

What that then does to the double-bladed sword is really only from a roleplaying perspective, but I thought it was quaint and interesting nonetheless. So, give it a try in your Eastern-themed games and tell me if it works for flavor or not.
